1. From the Main Menu, select Patients and then click a patient name.
2. Click the Documents tab.
3. Highlight a document in the list and verify the following:
● The Locked column contains True.
● The Date Locked column contains a date.
● The Locked column contains True.
● The Date Locked column contains a date.
4. Click the arrow beside New Document, and then select Homecare Certification (485), OASIS Only Follow-up/Recertification C-2+, PT Comprehensive Follow-up/Recertification C-2+, SN Comprehensive Follow-up/Recertification C-2+, Homecare Recertification (485).
5. Review the data that flowed into the document for accuracy, and ensure that medications, orders, and goals flowed to the 485.
6. Enter any additional information needed, paying close attention to the sections highlighted in green that must be filled out for the claim to be accepted.
7. Click .

2. Click the Documents tab.
3. Highlight a document in the Document list.
4. Click the Completed check box beside Document Status.
5. Click . Enterprise Edition displays the Completed date and the Completed By name in the Document Status area.
1. From the Main Menu, select Patients and then click a patient name.
2. Click the Documents tab.
3. Click the blue document link to open the document.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the document.
5. In field 25. Date HHA Received Signed POT enter the date that the agency received the Signed document.
6. In field 26. click the appropriate selection, Certify or Recertify to accept the attestation statement.
7. In field 27. Attending Physician's Signature and Date Signed enter the date that the physician signed the document.
Electronically Signing and Locking a Certification
1. From the Main Menu, select Patients and then click a patient name.
2. Click the Documents tab.
3. Highlight a document in the Document list.
4. Click beside Document Status.
5. Click OK to accept the attestation statement in the pop-up window.
6. Click . Enterprise Edition displays the Locked date and the Locked By name in the Document Status area. In addition, the Locked box will now be checked.
If your agency does not use Electronic Signature, you will need to manually Lock the document.
1. From the Main Menu, select Patients and then click a patient name.
2. Click the Documents tab.
3. Highlight a document in the Document list.
4. Click the Locked check box beside Document Status.
5. Click . Enterprise Edition displays the Locked date and the Locked By name in the Document Status area.
1. From the Main Menu, select Patients and then click a patient name.
2. Click the Documents tab.
3. Click the document name link in the Document grid.
4. Click . The 485 Print Option dialog box opens. Select the format you want to print.

5. When the 485 opens, click Print. Depending on what type of browser you use, you may see a message asking if you want to open or save the file. If you select the save option, the system prompts you to select a location where you want to save and name the file.
6. Click Open.

The print functionality opens the report in Acrobat (PDF) format. Some browsers, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, and so on, may automatically download the PDF to your downloads folder. You must open the PDF before sending the report to a printer. |
7. When the PDF opens, click .
8. Ensure the printer Name is the printer where you want to send the report, adjust any additional parameters necessary in the Print window, and click OK.
9. Close the PDF file, and click Return to 485 to return to the document.
