To complete a visit for a specific patient:
1. From the Main Menu, click Patients to open the patient's chart, and click the Orders tab.
2. In the list of orders, click the blue document link to open the Order.
3. Click at the top of the window. If you receive a message prompt, click OK.
4. In the Calendar View section at the bottom of the screen, select the visit you want to complete. The Scheduled Visit screen for the corresponding visit will display.
5. Click .
6. Ensure the correct employee is selected in the Personnel field that conducted the visit.
7. If desired, use the Payor field to change the applicable payor for the visit (or assign a payor if the field is blank).

If a user attempts to change the visit date while completing the visit, the payor list will automatically refresh to avoid inconsistencies in the scheduled and actual visit times. If the selected payor is not in effect for the new visit date, the software will trigger a warning and the user can select a different payor. |
8. In the Actual Start/Time and Actual End/Time fields, enter the dates/times you actually performed the visit.
9. Enter the following information at the bottom of the window:
● Total hours and the times (Begin/End) for specific services
● Number of miles and the Begin/End times in the Miles Out and Miles In fields
If necessary, click Calculate to view the hours/miles calculation.
10. When you finish entering all the appropriate information, click .

Enterprise Edition will automatically calculate the hours and miles. |
