Allergies

Allergies are loaded into your database. If necessary, you may add additional allergies that are not included in the database. When you add allergies, Enterprise Edition classifies them as user defined allergies, which are not a part of allergy alerts.

To add an allergy under Reference Files | Allergies:

  1. Click  .

  2. Enter an ID.

Enterprise Edition does not automatically generate an ID for allergies. You must enter a unique ID here.

  1. Click the arrow beside Type and select an allergy type.

  2. Enter the Name.

  3. Enter the Description.

  4. Click  .

To update an Allergy under Reference Files | Allergy:

  1. Click on the allergy you want to update. You can search for the allergy by entering the Allergy and clicking    or entering a name and clicking  .

  2. Enter any changes necessary.

  3. Click  .
