Use the Revenue Codes window to set up and update your agency's revenue code types (routine homecare, physician services, hospice room and board, skilled nursing visit, and so on). From this window, you can:
1.From the Main Menu, select Reference Files and click Revenue Codes.
2.Click .
3.Enter the code number for the new revenue code in the Code field.
4.Enter a brief description of the revenue code in the Description field.
5.If this revenue code is for Medicare or Medicaid units, select the Medicare Units or Medicaid Units check box (or both).
6.By default, the Apply to all offices check box is selected. To specify a particular office for this revenue code, clear the Apply to all offices check box, click the arrow beside the Office field, and select the office in which the revenue code applies.
1.From the Main Menu, select Reference Files and click Revenue Codes.
2.In the Code or Description columns, select the appropriate revenue code you want to update. To search for a specific code, enter a code number in the Code field or a description in the Description field, and click beside the appropriate field.
3.Update the Code, Description, or Office fields, and the Medicare Units or Medicaid Units check boxes, as necessary.
