Enterprise Edition uses referral categories to identify specific types of referrals.
To add a referral category under Reference Files | Referral Categories:
1. 1. Click .
2. 2. Enter the Description.
3. 3. Click the arrow beside Associated Source of Admission Code and select a source.
4. 4. If applicable, use the Category Site - HIS Site/Location Admitted From drop-down field to designate the referral category record with the appropriate HIS category site (i.e. Location the corresponding patient was admitted from). The referral category record can be designated with one of several options that are available.
