The Revenue Summary report includes data for both episodic and non-episodic payors. Use the Revenue Summary report to determine the amount of unbilled, billed, and deferred revenue for a payor, office, and/or agency.
This report also includes information on unbilled and billed visit counts and episodes. Any visit with a service that is marked as billable in the Service Master is eligible to pull to the report, as long as it meets the criteria below:
● Episodic Report Data – When you filter the report to include payors that have episodic plans attached to them, the report includes the following information:
o Unbilled
o Billed
● Non-Episodic Report Data – When you filter the report to include payors that have non-episodic plans attached to them, the report includes the following information:
o Unbilled
o Billed
You can group this report by office, then by episodic/non-episodic, then by financial class, and finally by payor.
To run the Revenue Summary report:
1. On the Main Menu, click Reports.
2. Click the arrow under Report Category and select either Accounting or Billing.
3. Click the arrow under Report Name and select Revenue Summary Report.
4. Select the desired report filters.
