CAHPS Survey Report

The Consumer Assessment of Health Providers & Systems (CAHPS) is a program of the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and is used to survey consumers and patients to report on and evaluate their experiences with health care.

Use the CAHPS Survey report to view responses from the survey and evaluate the quality of your agency's healthcare services. Select the criteria you want to use to filter the report

1.    On the Main Menu, click Reports.

2.    Select the CAHPS Survey Report Category.

3.    Select the CAHPS Survey Report Name.

4.    Click the arrow beside the Offices field, and then select the check box beside the office you want to use. To see all offices, click the top-level check box.

5.    To show only responses for Medicare and Medicaid, click the MCR/MCD Only check box.

6.    Click the arrow beside the Month field and select the month containing the surveys you want to view.

7.    Enter the Year (in YYYY format) you want to use.

8.    Click the arrow beside the Report Options field and select one of the following options:

     Summary Only

     Excluded Only

     Included Only

     ALL

9.    If you know the Survey Designator and/or the Vendor Client ID, select the Expanded Export check box and enter the appropriate information. (These options will be unavailable if the Expanded Export check box is not selected.)
