Correcting Submitted Assessments

You may make the following corrections to assessments that were previously submitted and accepted by the state:

     Key Field Corrections

     Non-Key Field Corrections

 

To make corrections to a submitted assessment:

1.    From the Main Menu, select Patients then click on the patient.

2.    Click the Documents tab.

3.    Use the filters to narrow the list of documents, and click on the document you want to correct.

4.    Click Revise in the Document Status area to unlock and uncomplete the document. When prompted if you are sure you want to unlock it, click OK.

5.    Click the document name in the Document grid to open the document and edit the applicable fields.

6.    Check the Completed check box in the Document Status area.

The document must be completed and locked before you submit it to the state.

7.    Click  , and click  .

8.    Continue with Preparing Assessments for Submission.

Documents in which you make key field corrections are automatically saved with Inactivation Type and a new document is created. Documents in which you make non-key field corrections are saved with Inactivation Type and a new document is not created. Enterprise Edition saves a correction count for each non-key field correction you make.
