Rebilling Claims

When response file errors are received, use the following steps to rebill individual claims:

1.    From within the Patients area, ensure the correct patient is selected.

2.    Navigate to Accounts | Accounts Summary using the main menu.

3.    From the Batch Details section, select the appropriate batch.  

4.    Before rebilling a claim, verify that the correct claim is highlighted in the display grid.

5.    Select the Void/Reverse Charges tab and then click  . This action un-posts the corresponding bill and allows users to modify charges and create an original bill type (8x1-8x4) in Accounts | Billing.

6.    Users are now able to pull the claim into a new batch in Accounts | Billing | Create Batch.
