Expanded functionality enables users to quickly view documentation related to a particular charge both before and after the billing process is completed.

 

The Productivity screen can be used to create new charges or track activity for a particular service. Follow the instructions below to manually create a new charge:

1.    From the Main Menu, click Accounts and then select Productivity.

2.    Click  .

3.    Complete the following fields:

     Patient & Admission

If applicable for the new charge you are adding, these fields can be left blank. This option is intended for agencies that log office hours or miscellaneous charges for employees.

     Employee

     Code

     Description

     Date

     Service Location

     Payroll Code

     Payor

For system-generated charges, this field displays the payor that was selected in the corresponding P Page or scheduled visit. If a charge is included in a batch, or has already been billed, the Payor field will not be editable.

4.    Select the Skilled check box if you only want skilled visit types.

5.    Enter the total hours and the times (Begin/End) in the fields at the bottom of the window for the appropriate services.

6.    Enter the number of miles as well as the Begin/End times in the Miles Out and Miles In fields.

7.    Click  .
