MAR Locations

This master file is only available for the Hospice line of business.

 

For each office using the MAR, you must create a Room/Bed tree in MAR Locations. Enterprise Edition adds a child entry in the tree to represent different rooms and/or beds in which a patient may be assigned. 

A user with MAR | Administrator rights in User Security may use the Master File to view which patients are assigned to which locations. If a user does not have administrator rights, Enterprise Edition displays Occupied next to a location assigned to a patient.

To create a MAR Room/Bed tree:

1.    Select an office from the Agency tree in the left column. Enterprise Edition displays the office in the Room/Bed tree in the right column.

2.    Click on the office in the right column.

3.    Click  . A child of the office displays in the Room/Bed tree as (New Location).

4.    Click on (New Location). (New Location) displays in the Location field.

5.    Highlight (New Location) in the Location field, and enter a location name.

6.    Click  .

7.    If necessary, you can create multiple bed rooms or mark a location inactive.
