About IDT Meeting Documents

IDT Meeting is a new feature that gives hospices the flexibility to create customized documentation of the IDT meeting discussion for each patient. IDT Meeting documents allow users to include only the components needed for each patient. Team members can also create narratives ahead of time using the IDT Discipline Narrative document. Narratives from these documents will flow into the IDT Meeting document.

Enabling the IDT Document

The IDT Meeting tab will display in the patient’s chart only when the IDT Meeting document has not been excluded. To use the IDT Meeting tab, go to Reference Files | Document Exclusion and uncheck the box next to the IDT Meeting document.

If narratives will be used, make sure the box next to IDT Discipline Narrative is also unchecked.

To avoid confusion, we recommend that the old IDT Plan of Care and IDT Plan of Care Update documents are excluded.

Once the IDT Meeting document has been un-excluded, the IDT Meeting tab will be visible in the patient’s chart. All IDT Meeting documents are stored on the IDT Meeting tab (and not in the Documents tab).
