Use the Policy Holder tab to enter information regarding this patient's policy holder (if different from the patient).
By default, Enterprise Edition identifies the policy holder as the patient (Self). If that is the case, it is not necessary to complete the fields on this tab. However, you must click Save on this tab before continuing to the Policy Holder Employer tab. |
To enter Patient Policy Holder information in Patients | Intake Referral | Insurance:
1. Click to activate the phone and email fields.
2. Complete all applicable fields regarding information for this patient's policy holder, if different from the patient.
3. If an e-mail address is available, enter it in the Email field, and click .
4. Click the Policy Holder Employer tab.
5. Continue with Identifying the Policy Holder Employer.
