Using the Reports area of the software, agencies now have the ability to print a list of current MAR medication dosages with administration details. Users can access this report in the Reports area by selecting MAR in the Report Category field and MAR Medication Schedule in the Report Name field.
● Scheduled Date From / Thru — MAR medications will only be included in the report data if they fall within this date range.
● Patients — Select one or more patients to include in the report.
● Medication — Specify one medication to use for the report.
● Administered By — Display medications that were given by a certain employee.
● Admin Status — Limit the report to display medications that were “Given” or “Not Given”.
● Admin Timeliness — Run the report according to the timeliness of medication administrations (On Time, Early, Late).
● As Needed — Apply an report filter for PRN medications (PRN Only, Scheduled Only).

By default, each of the fields above is set to run the report for "All" criteria with the exception of the Scheduled Date From / Thru fields (default to the current date). |
● MAR Active Only checkbox — When checked, patients are only included if MAR is turned on.
● Include On Hold checkbox — When checked, medications placed on hold will be included.
● Report header displays all selections that were made in the Report Filter Criteria fields.
● Medications in the report are grouped and listed according to the following rules:
Patient à Type (Continuous, Scheduled, PRN) à Scheduled Date à Alphabetical Order
● Columns of data:
o Status of the dose displays in far left column (e.g. Given, Given Late, Given On Time, Late, On Hold, etc.).
o Scheduled time for the dose displays to the left of the Medication column.
o Medication column includes the name and prescribed dosage as well as the actual Date/Time and Dose that was administered (if applicable). Notes field will also display if a note was entered when the dose was given.
o Administered By column — Indicates the clinician that administered the medication.
o Witness column — Indicates who witnessed the medication administration (if applicable).
