Viewing an Account Summary

To view a summary of accounts receivable, payments, and adjustments:

1.    From the Main Menu, click Accounts and select Account Summary. By default, the system opens the patient search on the left.

2.    Click on the patient for whom you want to view an account summary.

3.    In the Account Summary for tab, select any appropriate filter criteria.

4.    Enterprise Edition displays the information in the following areas:

     Accounts Receivable Reconciliation

     Accounts Receivable

Users can use the    button (for the Accounts Receivable Reconciliation grid)  or the    button (for the Accounts Receivable grid) to display the corresponding contact information in the grid header.

     Batch Details

     Payments & Adjustments

5.    Click    to print the account summary.


Account Summary Notes

Several areas in Enterprise Edition have been updated to provide additional functionality for users:

     Enter notes using the Notes tab in Account Summary (Refer to the Entering Account Summary Notes topic for further details regarding this feature).  

     Access to the Notes tab has also been made available in Accounts | Payments. Additionally, the "Action" and "Notes" columns (added to the Accounts Receivable grid) have also been incorporated within the Episode Selection grid in Accounts | Payments | Post Payments.  

     Users that have the Messaging feature enabled in Administration | System Control can use the Email button (from the Notes tab) to send account summary notes to another user.

     Print all notes entered in Account Summary using the Accounting Notes Report.

     Include details for most recent, applicable account summary notes in the A/R Aging Report.

     Establish Account Note Categories in References Files that are used to label account summary notes.
