Using the Document Creator

Use the Document Creator to create clinical forms and documentation, called Custom Forms. Custom documents are intended to supplement the HEALTHCAREfirst standard documentation available in firstHOMECARE and firstHOSPICE, such as admission packets or documentation for disciplines not currently provided. 

You cannot edit or change HEALTHCAREfirst standard documentation using the Document Creator.

Custom Forms you create in the Document Creator are built from scratch, although some HEALTHCAREfirst standard functionality is available for you to use as necessary, such as the Productivity page and electronic signature.

 

There is no additional charge for using the Document Creator; however, before HEALTHCAREfirst grants access to this feature, you must:

Access will only be given to those users who complete the training, and will be managed by HEALTHCAREfirst Support.

 

To open the Document Creator:

1.    On the Main Menu, click Administration.

2.    Click Document Creator.

 

Document Creator contains three tabs:

     Custom Form Master

     Custom Form Elements Tab

     Custom Form Images Tab
